Moist theatre is made up of current and abroad members. Who they are and what they are up to currently is detailed below.
Matt is currently teaching English in Chile. Matt graduated from McMaster University with a degree in Communication Studies and has worked in the field of social media for small businesses around Toronto. He has been performing improv comedy for a few years now but his theatre background is in stage building and design. He has performed a wide range of types of theatre from Shakespeare to Wilde and from time to time he also performs stand-up comedy at Yuk Yuk's but has found his creative home among Moist Theatre.
Martin graduated from McMaster university and is currently persueing a master's level education in translation. He is currently studying in England. He left the group in early 2011 to study in spain; easily the most travelled of all of Moist Theatre, Martin still returns home to Canada every summer. Moist was lucky enough to have him perform with them at their debut independant Toronto show - a reimagining of their first big successful show. Slippery When Wet: Toronto was an absolute smash hit as Martin meshed with the group like he had almost never been gone.
Patrick was on loan to Moist Theatre from Leed's University way back in 2009-2010. Having done stand up comedy back in England, his dry sense of humor meshed instantly with Moist Theatre. Currently still living in England, Patrick is a well on his way to his own career in comedy, having produced countless shows around his university community. He currently works full time in the comedic arts, be it performing at new and exciting opportunities, or organizing them to begin with. We look forward to the day he decides to come back to his home away from home here in Canada, or the day Moist Theatre can all fly to England and surprise him.
